This is a fire in Galveston that could be seen and even smelled for many blocks. The home owner was home when the fire started, but was able to get out with the help of her neighbors. Talking with the onlookers she is a widowed elderly woman who lived alone. Thank God she was able to get out in time! Here are a few shots I got at the scene.
I want to thank you Dominique for the enjoyable trash the dress photo session. We got to the beach just before sunrise, and right off went straight for the water. Sunrise photos in Galveston allow us to get photos with the sun touching the water. It worked out good with the clouds in the sky really give some nice details and cloud formations to accent the sunrise. Below I am sharing just a few photos for you to
enjoy, but there are many more good shots than this.
Well it time, my little baby girl is going to school. She started today and we think she loves it. Yesterday we had to take her and get a few shots (ok a bunch of shots LOL) of her in her school uniform. She really loves getting her picture taken.
This wedding was a small short wedding at the Hotel Galvez here in Galveston. Even though it was small it was very nice I think the photos came out good. Rev. John Bostock with Island Minister was the Officiant. John and I have worked together many times, and he is very professional, and makes the ceremony very joyful. Congratulations to Kori & Paul.
Jazmin & Sherman now here is an fun couple. They found us at the Bridal Extravaganza back in January. They live in San Antonio so I thought this would be a good chance for me to photograph somewhere new. So I decided to do there Engagements in San Antonio. I asked them to pick a place since I have never photographed there. They came up with this perfect place. It was a hidden park by the San Antonio Zoo. This really was the perfect place.

Since Blake & Ashley are students at SFASU she had her wedding up in Nacogdoches.
The Speight family is from Frisco, TX and they come to Galveston every year. Last year I had the opportunity to photograph them on there vacation. This year called me up and said they wanted more. I have to say that when things like this happen it makes you love what you do even more. Since I did their photos last year, then again this year I was able to see how much their kids have grown. It also give me a chance to see how much I have grown as a photographer.

I received a call from one of my past brides who wanted to refer me to her boss for some family photos. It turned out that I used to work with Traci at Capital One many years ago. She left shortly after I started to start a family. Since then went met at a different wedding in Lake Jackson back in 2007. Now she wanted me to get some family photos for her grandparents 50 Wedding Anniversary. This goes to show how small the world actually is.
Ali was a very fun and open person to work with, she was probably one of the most relaxed I have ever photographed. She Graduated this past May in Friendswood. We did 3 different locations for her session, and I think it was worth it. Here are a few of my faves. enjoy!
